Kelvin Lai is currently the CEO eCagayan Gaming Inc., a gaming software provider that specializes in the development of Live Gaming and Sports betting products.
Since 2002 Kelvin has pioneered the Live Online Gaming industry in Asia by heading up various Live Gaming software company such as CWC Gaming, KG Soft, 168 Gaming Inc.
In 2003 where Live Gaming was just a novelty concept, Kelvin played a crucial role in the development of the Live Gaming market by identifying/ implementing major licensing deals such as Easybets, Ladbrokes and Betinternet, sparking a new business model that was quickly adapted in the market.
Kelvin left CWC Gaming in 2004 as Managing Director for Asia and founded KG Soft Inc., a Live Gaming software company which he grew from a small online gaming start-up to a respected software provider that has more than 100 employees mainly focusing on the Asia market.
In 2004, KG Soft Inc. was the 2nd individual group that secured an interactive gaming license in Cagayan Economic Development Zone (CEZA). KG Soft was also the first Live gaming provider that innovated, developed, and implemented the first Live Dealer Online Casino Multi-Level Agency System where junket commission could be taken into consideration.
KG Soft was subsequently bought out and was merged into 168 Gaming Inc. where Kelvin was appointed as CEO in 2007. 168 Gaming was then the market leader in the Live Gaming software industry where more than 1,000 concurrent users at peak hours were being served.
Kelvin was subsequently invited by the owners of 168 Gaming to head up the development of a 100 million USD Casino/ Hotel/ Golf Resort as the Executive Vice-President of Business Development of BB International Limited based out of Clark, Philippines. BB International has leased 122 hectares of prime property at Clark located next to Fontana Resort.
During his tenure in BB International Kelvin was a key member of the team that submitted the gaming license application/ business plan to PAGCOR (Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation) which led to the grant of a Gaming License for BB International’s project in Clark. When Kelvin founded eCagayan Gaming in 2008, he was made the advisor to the board of directors in BB International.
